  1. The Latin form ‘cuniculus’ is the origin of a certain word in English, that also has two other synonyms derived from names of small furry creatures.

Some derelict iron age hillforts were used to farm rabbits in the medieval period, hence the name of ‘Coney’s Castle’ in Dorset
    (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coney%27s_Castle).

  2. Rabbit differs in only one character (and in the correct pronunciation, only one consonant) from the word Rabbi. Curiously, though, rabbits aren’t kosher.

  3. Facts you have overlooked: a) Rabbits live in warrens and are cutely referred to as bunnies. b) Our friendly* neighbouring farmer fills their warrens with propane, ignites it and blows the bunnies into the middle of next week.

    *unless you’re a rabbit

  4. Is there anywhere in London which serves laurices?

I think there’s a niche there, if not
