New Media Age features a major article by Greg Brooks about Lshift in its latest issue, charting the history of the company and talking about our unique approach.
The piece starts with the founding of LShift in 2000, discusses how we created our production model, and talks about the work we have done for clients such as Habitat, Microsoft, Clearlybusiness, Vodafone and New Media Knowledge.
LShift hosts the meetings of the Scheme UK Scheme user’s group. Scheme is an advanced programming language particularly well suited for programming web applications.
At the February meeting Noel Welsh will discuss continuations and their application to web programming. Continuations provide a simple way to manage state across user requests. The meeting starts at 7pm. Newcomers are welcome to attend.
